Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CrewTech Pro (“CrewTech Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the CrewTech Pro dispatch and scheduling service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Who this policy is for
CrewTech Pro is used by trade-service businesses (“Customers”) to schedule and dispatch their technicians. This policy applies to information about our Customers, the individual users they invite (including technicians), and people whose information a Customer enters into the Service.
Information we collect
- Account information. Business name, the name and email of the account owner and any dispatchers or technicians invited to the account, and login credentials.
- Technician contact details. Technician names and mobile phone numbers, so the Service can assign work and send job notifications.
- Customer and job data entered by the business. Information a Customer chooses to enter to run their operation — for example customer names and addresses, job types and descriptions, schedules, parts, notes, and invoices.
- Usage information. Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the Service, such as log data and device/browser information.
The customer and job data a business enters is controlled by that business. We process it on their behalf to provide the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To schedule jobs and deliver job notifications (including SMS) to technicians who have opted in.
- To create invoices from completed jobs at the Customer’s direction.
- To authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent abuse.
- To provide support and respond to requests.
- To send necessary account and service communications (for example billing or security notices).
SMS / text message notifications
CrewTech Pro sends SMS job notifications to technicians — for example a morning summary of the jobs assigned to them and updates when their schedule changes.
- Opt-in. Technicians opt in to receive SMS job notifications during account setup. Only technicians who have opted in receive text messages.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies by job schedule (for example, a message on days a technician has assigned work).
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan.
- Opting out and help. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, and reply HELP for help.
- No sharing of opt-in data. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us operate the Service (for example hosting, database, and the telecommunications provider that delivers our text messages), under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
- Within a Customer’s account. Information entered into a Customer’s account is visible to the authorized users of that account (for example the owner, dispatchers, and assigned technicians).
- Legal and safety. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
As noted above, mobile opt-in and consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customers may request deletion of their account data as described below.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Technicians can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP.
- Account users can update their account information within the Service.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
